I've been seeing Dr. Chavers for over ten years. He was practicing functional medicine before it was “cool”, and at the time there was no one else in the area doing medicine the way he does. His model lets him actually sit down and understand a patient's issues and goals, without the rush you get with a typical insurance-based GP. I'd highly recommend him.
Update June 2026: I wanted to update my review after another year as a patient. Recently, I faced a complicated medication coverage issue that required significant medical documentation and advocacy. Dr. Chavers took the time to listen carefully, understand my situation, and provide the support and documentation needed for my ongoing care. I was especially grateful for the responsiveness and professionalism of Pam and Brittani, who were incredibly helpful throughout the process. Their kindness, organization, and willingness to assist never went unnoticed.
