We are so impressed with the level of care and interest the staff takes in the residents. The facility is immaculate and the food is very good. My father made friends quickly and he is very happy there. There is always something to keep him happy and as family we always feel welcome.

I could write a novel about how wonderful Ivy Park is and how truly special the people are who care for my mother—but I’ll keep it brief. Earlier this year, my mom’s Alzheimer’s began progressing faster than we hoped. She could no longer live alone, and we suddenly found ourselves searching for a new home for her. We toured Ivy Park years ago, and again visited ten different facilities this spring. Nothing felt right. Something told me to go back to Ivy Park one more time—and I’m so grateful I listened.

My husband, who has Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, has been in memory care at The Ivy for over a year. There were management changes more than a year ago, and for a while there were certainly some transition issues. But over the past year, his care has been excellent. With the addition of more activities directors for both memory care and assisted living, there has been a noticeable increase in music programs, outings, and other activities for the residents. The staff is always welcoming, responsive, and helpful, and the facility is extremely well maintained.
