9-8-26 Update - California Dept of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Facility Search site now lists this facility as "Revocation Action Pending: 9-3-26." Please do your homework and search their site for the citations that have been issued for this facility. Be very careful placing your loved ones here. They currently have 12 A and 8 B citations against them. I moved my mother out after three medication screw ups in addition to numerous other issues. I would not recommend Oakmont.
My mother fell three times in two days while living here. After the first two falls, I raised safety concerns with the director, but I did not see meaningful changes before the third fall. During one surprise visit, I found my mother on the floor with staff around her. I asked whether she hit her head and was told no, that she hit her face. Later, I found wounds on her knees that had been missed. In my opinion, the facility appears understaffed and more focused on first impressions than follow-through.
DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE AS OF 2026. Their facilities have deteriorated and staff members have repeatedly misleading, evasive, and downright lied. My most recent conversation included them stating there are “too many projects and not enough money for maintenance” when I spoke with them on a recorded line. And they are suppose to be responsible for the vulnerable population?? Edit to reply: 2/24/2026 - your blanket response is disingenuous and untruthful as yet another action of poor ethics by oakmont and connected parties.
