Our mother moved into the Lakeshore in Middle of September 2026. She keeps telling everyone she talks to how nice everyone is. She has been welcomed into her new home with open arms. We could not of picked a better place for our mom to flourish.
My nana moved into The Lakeshore on July 27 and remained there until she was evicted on September 4. She passed away just five days later, on September 9. Before moving in, The Lakeshore was fully aware that my nana had dementia and was struggling to give up her independence. They assured us that, as her needs changed, they would provide a “holistic, individualized care and wellness plan.” Sadly, that promise was never kept. Less than a week after moving in, staff called the police on my nana for what they described as suicidal ideation.
The Lakeshore Retirement Community is a welcoming, beautiful home for my mom. She moved across the country to be closer to where I live and I am assured by the authentic, friendly, and devoted care she has received while settling in; quite a feat after leaving everything behind and starting anew.
